Lost Gods Contest!

Hello People!

So, as you might have noticed by now, I do not have a huge marketing team behind me. In fact, the marketing team consists of me, which is difficult. I could use some help.

I’d love some help spreading the word about Lost Gods, and so, I am having another contest. It’s pretty simple, really. If you help spread the word about Lost Gods, and let me know, you will have the chance to win Lost Gods prizes.

How you can Help

If you have a blog, or a podcast, perhaps you can mention and or link to Lost Gods. You can always use the web ready posters!

A review on iTunes would be great.

A review, comment, or vote on Podiobooks would also be great.

Print out the new poster (JPG PDF) take a picture of it hanging somewhere and send it to me!

General things that help (but are harder to track for purposes of the contest) include things like telling your friends, giving them a copy of one of the chapters (I suggest chapter one) and leaving comments on the blog. I would really love to get the word out about this book, I thinks it’s pretty good, and I need some help. Please.

So, You Want Some Cool Prizes?

As for the Prizes, well, I have an interesting idea. When the book goes to print, I will be using the spider image as the focus of the cover, BUT, for extra special prizes, I will make up three alternative covers. These will be limited to ONE COPY EACH! So, if you win, you will be the owner of a unique, ONE OF A KIND copy of Lost Gods, signed personally to you from yours truly. So, you can have the only copy with Puck, Coyote or Kanene gracing the cover. I think that is pretty cool.

I will also name a character in the print copy of the book after you. Come on, that’s pretty cool (not one of the main characters, though. That would just be nutty.)

How Do You Enter?

Just email drewbeatty(@)gmail.com (remove brackets) with the link, image, or whatever proof you have that you have helped spread the word! For every link or effort, you get another entry in the contest. 10 links = 10 chances to win!

Caveat

Please don’t go crazy, spamming people relentlessly, or starting flame wars on message boards or anything. Please respect the people you are proselytizing to! : )

Thanks to Steve Saylor for the idea!
