I got my hands on an invite code for triggit, an interesting web application that allows you to easily embed images, code, links etc… into a blog. This is just a test run, to see how it works. I’m not totally sold on the functionality as yet, but it seems like it could be a fun tool, especially on something like Tumblr that lives on posting images videos and the like.
Right now you can only use it to embed from certain pages (Flickr, Amazon, and YouTube being the biggest.) The image is from Flickr, embedded using Triggit. I will have to see if it becomes part of my daily web routine. Anything to make content creation easier, but I’m still not certain if it is that much easier.
Update:
For example, I cannot wrap the test, or control the alignment of the image, as I can with WordPress. I just have that image hanging in the middle of the page, with black space all around it. So for not sold, but we will still have to see.
