It’s not that I have forgotten about Talking with Tots, but for the longest time Tarquin was reluctant to record. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love Ephraim, but between you and me, he just can’t carry the whole show.
In this special, special episode, Tarquin regals us with not one, but two stories he wrote today. Now, the more astute of you might notice that the first story bears a passing resemblance to “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do You See?” To those of you who think his is a plagiarist I say: Shut up! Were you able to plagerize a story at two years of age? No? I didn’t think so, smart guy.
The second story, about his cousin Aurora, originally had Aurora waking from a nap, seeing a mouse, crying and crying about the mouse until the family cat caught it and put it in the compost. It loses something in the re-telling. Like about half the story. Nevertheless, it is included here.
Background shouts and bangs compliments of Ephraim.
