First Paragraph Written

So, my First writing in a year, for a new novel. Urban fantasy this time, but More Gaiman than DeLint. Although probably much crappier than either of those!  No title yet, but the first paragraph looks something like this:

I had been waiting for two hours when I finally spotted my mark. My back was getting stiff from leaning up against the 7-11 for so long, but if there was on thing I knew, it was patience. It wouldn’t do to attract attention to myself by hassling too many people. Waiting for the right person could be more effective than a dozen scattershot attempts. Consider it my version of narrowcasting, finding the ideal target market. This man was my market, I was sure of it. He was getting off the street car, looking carefully both ways before crossing the street. I knew an easy target when I saw it, and this mark was about as easy as it got. He had a simple open face. He looked like the kind a man who never touches wine unless it’s sacramental. Someone who would love to help a fellow human being. I pushed myself off from the wall, smoothed my clothing, and approached him.
